The Made in Japan MP-200 from Nagaoka is a cartridge of musical contrasts. It offers an organic, fluid music presentation with engaging midrange with the reproduction of vocals and instruments. At the same time it retains the detail, lustre, dynamics and presence of sounds that are often buried and attenuated by other smooth sounding cartridges.
Utilising the best of the Nagaoka MP-150, the MP-200 focuses on improving the nude diamond stylus' performance by upgrading to a boron cantilever contributing to a warmer sound signature.
