The Kinki Studio EX-P27 is a high-end stereo preamplifier designed for audiophiles who value musicality, precision, low noise and powerful dynamic expression. Introduced to celebrate Kinki Studio's 12th anniversary, it builds on the design philosophy of the EX-P7, adding a key feature: Home Theatre (HT) Bypass for integration into a combined two-channel hi-fi and home cinema system.

Key highlights

• True Class A operation: Fully discrete input and output stages designed for natural tonal reproduction and fine musical detail.

• Dual-mono architecture: Three separate encapsulated toroidal transformers help isolate the left and right audio channels from the display and control circuitry.

• Precision R2R volume control: A relay-based, resistor-ladder design provides fine volume adjustment and accurate channel matching.

• Balanced connectivity: Four RCA and four XLR inputs accommodate multiple analogue sources.

• HT Bypass: Connect an AV processor or home cinema preamplifier while retaining the EX-P27 as the main preamplifier for stereo listening.

• High-quality construction: A substantial aluminium chassis, shielded power transformer.
