WANDLA GoldenSound Edition DAC / Preamp By Ferrum Audio

The WANDLA GoldenSound Edition digital to analogue converter and pre-amplifier is a fruitful collaboration between the talented team at Ferrum Audio and GoldenSound's Cameron Oatley.   Utilising SERCE, the heart of the WANDLA sought-after software additional features, capabilities and settings were implemented.  This allowed the tailoring of the WANDLA GoldenSound Edition DAC’s sound to match individual needs and requirements.

By reallocating SERCE's processing power, this collaboration allowed the team to create a number of brand new features in the WANDLA GoldenSound Edition including Improved digital headroom, Spatial Enhancement, Tube Mode and Impact+ as well as new voltage adjustments.

PCM was left untouched and bypassed MQA processing entirely to achieve the best performance from the WANDLA’s DSP engine.

In addition, the Ferrum Audio WANDLA GoldenSound Edition has a new output voltage adjustment function, allowing better compatibility with a larger number of amplifiers.
